Conceptually, I’m interested in meaning making and symbolism.  Tradition, the making of tradition, and the maintenance of it within families and societies is something that is imbued in me, and I am constantly discovering this anew.  Simple acts, images, sounds and smells evoke memories of custom or practice. The cross between memory, nostalgia and intellect is what I find most compelling.
